Job Description

• Assist the Project Managers in executing all project requirements according to the company standards ensuring that quality, health and safety policies are strictly implemented.
• Undertake survey and site settings.
• Manpower management.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and thework of any subcontractors.
• Monitoring and interpreting the design and drawings supplied by the design department.
• Ability to interpret project schedules and adhere to agreed timelines. Report lapse in time due to specificfactors.
• Ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications. Report in case ofdiscrepancies.
• Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials.
• Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors and the general workforceinvolved in the project.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Responsible for overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Preparing reports as required.
• Checking materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements.
• Observance of safety requirements.
• Quality control in accordance with approved method statements, quality plans and inspection and testplans, all prepared by the project management team and by subcontractors.
• Providing data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
• Preparing record drawings, technical reports, site diary.
• Provide daily site updates to project manager with photographs and progress of work at site.
• Coordinate and plan authority inspections and approvals.
• 3-4 years of UAE experience in similar work profile
• Experience in turnkey interior fit-out, retail, commercial, residential projects.
• B.E Civil, B.Sc. Civil, Diploma Civil.
