Job Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated

MEP Site Engineer - Electrical

to manage and execute electrical works within multi-disciplinary MEP projects. The role involves supervising site activities, ensuring compliance with

UAE standards and authority regulations

, and coordinating with mechanical, plumbing, and civil teams for seamless project delivery. The candidate will play a key role in reviewing drawings, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and supporting testing and commissioning to deliver high-quality, safe, and timely project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute electrical works at the site in line with project drawings and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants for smooth project execution. Prepare daily progress reports and submit to the Project Manager. Ensure all works comply with

UAE electrical regulations

and

DEWA/ADDC/FEWA/SEWA

standards (as applicable). Assist in material take-off, procurement follow-up, and inventory management. Perform quality checks on installations (cabling, wiring, panel boards, lighting, earthing, etc.). Identify and resolve technical issues at the site promptly. Monitor safety compliance and enforce safe work practices. Support in testing and commissioning activities.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering. 2-3 years of experience in site-based electrical work (UAE experience preferred). Familiarity with

local authority regulations

(DEWA, ADDC, FEWA, SEWA). Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Strong coordination, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Valid UAE driving license preferred.
