Job Description
The Site Engineer oversees day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and timelines. The role bridges the gap between technical design and on-site implementation, coordinating among architects, contractors, and workers to ensure project success. This position also involves managing and supervising MEP services to ensure full integration with civil and structural works.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage on-site construction activities, including structural, architectural, and MEP works. Coordinate with MEP subcontractors to ensure installation aligns with design drawings, specifications, and overall project schedule. Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project workflow and resolve technical issues. Prepare and review daily site reports, progress updates, and quality control documentation. Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are followed on site. Verify materials, workmanship, and installation methods against design requirements. Assist in planning work schedules, allocating resources, and managing timelines. Support the Project Manager in monitoring budgets, material procurement, and subcontractor performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
2 to 3 years experience in similar field Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Site Engineer with exposure to MEP works. Strong understanding of construction methods, MEP systems, and safety standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools. Excellent organizational, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
