The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing construction sites to ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role involves coordinating with contractors, monitoring progress, ensuring quality standards, and resolving technical issues on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor construction activities on-site according to project plans and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams to ensure efficient workflow.
Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and project documents.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
Identify and resolve technical or operational issues on-site promptly.
Assist in procurement of materials and verify delivery and usage as per project requirements.
Conduct site inspections and ensure work complies with design specifications and standards.
Maintain documentation of site activities, progress, and any changes in project plans.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in construction site management.
Skills:
o Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
o Ability to read and interpret drawings, plans, and specifications.
o Effective communication and team coordination skills.
o Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
o Proficient in MS Office and construction management software.
