Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Site Engineer to manage project documentation, supervise on-site work, and coordinate between multiple stakeholders. The Site Engineer will ensure smooth project execution, adherence to quality and safety standards, and timely completion of work.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Document Management

Organize Project Files:

Maintain and organize all project-related documents, including technical drawings, approvals, permits, and material lists.

Version Control:

Ensure all technical drawings and plans are up to date, track changes, and distribute the latest versions to the appropriate stakeholders.

Compliance:

Verify that all documents meet industry regulations and standards.

Archiving:

Store physical and electronic documents systematically for easy retrieval during and after the project.

Coordination:

Work closely with designers, engineers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth document flow.

Distribution:

Ensure all teams have access to the necessary documents (design drawings, specifications, etc.) for installation work.

2. Site Supervision

On-Site Coordination:

Supervise installation works (e.g., signage) according to documented plans and designs.

Quality Control:

Regularly inspect the work to ensure quality and consistency with project documentation and design specifications.

Team Management:

Oversee on-site teams, including installers, contractors, and workers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety guidelines.

Problem-Solving:

Address discrepancies between design and site conditions, working with the team to find effective solutions.

Safety and Compliance:

Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.

Progress Reporting:

Provide regular updates to project stakeholders about progress, issues, and delays.

3. Project Coordination

Liaison:

Serve as the primary point of contact between the on-site team, the design team, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.

Change Management:

Handle real-time design changes or site adjustments, ensuring alterations are documented and communicated effectively.

Material Management:

Oversee delivery and inspection of materials, ensuring they meet specifications and are available when required.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field). Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role (experience in signage installation is a plus). Strong understanding of construction drawings, site supervision, and project coordination. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office and basic project management tools.

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,500.00 per month
