Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Site Engineer

to oversee the execution of site activities for tensile shade structures, steel/aluminium fabrication, and construction projects across the UAE/GCC. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (mandatory).

Experience:

3-7 years in a similar role within the UAE/GCC region.

Technical Knowledge:

Proficiency in site execution, fabrication, and installation of tensile fabric, steel, and aluminium structures.

Core Competencies

Supervision of on-site installations, foundation casting, and mechanical fixings. Coordination with production, factory, logistics, and subcontractors. Expertise in heavy machine alignment, commissioning, and site safety protocols. Strong understanding of technical drawings, fabrication detailing, and project execution. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Project (or similar tools). Experience in managing Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), Work Inspection Requests (WIRs), and project handovers. Skilled in monitoring project cash flow, aligning financials with milestones, and ensuring cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Supervise site teams and ensure adherence to project drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Coordinate with project engineers, clients, and consultants for inspections and approvals. Track and report daily progress, highlighting any delays, material shortages, or risks. Oversee material delivery, storage, and usage on site. Enforce Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies at all times. Attend project meetings, site inspections, and client consultations. Lead project completion and handover, including final inspections, documentation, and client satisfaction.
