is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. The role involves coordinating with workers, subcontractors, and engineers to maintain quality, productivity, and adherence to timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Supervision:
Oversee day-to-day site activities to ensure smooth execution of work.
Ensure that work is performed according to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
Monitor workforce and subcontractor performance on-site.
2. Execution of Works:
Assist in planning and execution of structural, civil, or architectural works.
Conduct layout and setting out of works as per drawings and survey data.
Supervise concrete pouring, rebar placement, masonry, formwork, and finishing works.
3. Quality Control:
Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality standards are met.
Coordinate with the QA/QC team for tests like slump, cube testing, compaction, etc.
Rectify or report any non-conformities.
4. Progress Monitoring:
Track progress of site activities against the project schedule.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and submit to the project manager.
Identify delays and support planning engineers in updating project timelines.
5. Material and Resource Management:
Monitor the use of materials and coordinate material delivery to avoid shortages or delays.
Manage tools, machinery, and manpower effectively on-site.
6. Health and Safety Compliance:
Enforce safety rules and regulations at the site.
Ensure all workers wear proper PPE and follow safe working practices.
Report incidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
7. Technical Coordination:
Liaise with consultants, architects, and other engineers to clarify technical issues.
Interpret and implement project drawings and specifications accurately.
Support in resolving design conflicts or site issues.

Documentation and Records:
Maintain site diaries, material logs, and daily activity records.
Ensure proper documentation of inspection reports, material approvals, and RFI submissions.

As-Built and Handover:
Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documents.
Coordinate with subcontractors for the completion of punch lists and final inspections.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
preferred 3+ years of local experience
in site supervision or construction management.
Strong knowledge of
construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
.
Ability to read and interpret
drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in
MS Office, AutoCAD (optional), and reporting tools
.
