We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Site Engineer

to oversee and manage daily site operations for our construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Supervision:

Oversee daily technical tasks on joinery and fit-out projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and safety protocols. Monitor project progress, quality control, and adherence to timelines.
2. Coordination:

Collaborate with carpentry teams, subcontractors, and architects to resolve technical issues. Prepare and review technical drawings, site layouts, and material schedules.
3. Documentation:

Maintain daily site reports, including material usage, workforce allocation, and progress updates.
4. Quality Assurance:

Conduct on-site inspections to ensure work meets contractual and industry standards. Address discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
5. Budget Management:

Assist in tracking material and labour costs to minimise waste and optimise project efficiency.
Qualifications:

Education: Diploma or degree in Civil/Construction Engineering or a related technical field. Experience: 2-3 years in fitout, joinery, or carpentry contracting roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools. Strong understanding of carpentry materials, joinery systems, and fitout workflows.
Soft Skills:

Detail-oriented with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines.
