SITE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

Conduct site visits as required to take precise measurements, assess the scope of work, and monitor overall project progress. Assist in the development and execution of the

Project Execution Plan (PEP)

. Plan and oversee the project close-out process, ensuring all requirements are met efficiently. Communicate technical information clearly to project teams; prepare detailed

shop drawings

,

sketches

, and other relevant documentation. Monitor work in progress and generate weekly progress reports for management. Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality completion of deliverables. Attend and contribute to

Work-In-Progress (WIP)

meetings, resolving site-related issues proactively. Address client concerns and complaints professionally and in a timely manner. Perform accurate

quantity take-offs

from drawings for all

Bill of Quantities (BOQ)

items. Support pricing and cost analysis for both direct and indirect expenses related to BOQ components. Review and cross-check project drawings and documents to identify discrepancies, variations, or additional BOQ items. Apply in-depth knowledge of

joinery details

to ensure high-quality production and installation standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in

Civil Engineering

,

Architecture

,

Construction Management

, or a related field. Minimum

of relevant experience in site engineering, preferably within joinery, fit-out, or construction sectors. Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, architectural layouts, and BOQs. Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, building codes, and industry best practices. Proven experience in

quantity surveying

,

cost estimation

, and

value engineering

. Expertise in

joinery fabrication and installation

. Familiar with

Project Execution Plans (PEP)

and project close-out methodologies. Proficient in

AutoCAD

,

Microsoft Office Suite

, and project management tools such as

MS Project

or

Primavera

. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure. Well-versed in

health and safety regulations

and

on-site quality control

procedures.
