We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer with proven experience in Electric Vehicle (EV) charger installation and commissioning. This role requires hands-on technical knowledge, project coordination skills, and a strong understanding of electrical systems, specifically related to EV infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of EV charging stations (AC & DC).
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely execution of projects.
Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and site layouts.
Conduct site assessments to ensure infrastructure readiness for charger installation.
Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to charger performance or site conditions.
Prepare and maintain site reports, installation documentation, and daily logs.
Ensure all activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams post-installation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in electrical site engineering, preferably with EV charging infrastructure.
Solid understanding of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Familiarity with EV charger brands and technologies (e.g., ABB, Delta, Siemens, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
UAE driving license preferred (if applicable to your location).
