Job Summary:

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing parts of construction projects, providing technical advice, supervising staff on-site, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The role demands a strong understanding of civil engineering principles, the ability to read technical drawings, and knowledge of Dubai's regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and project timelines. Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met. Interpret and implement design plans and blueprints. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards. Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or site issues. Monitor the use of materials and equipment on-site, ensuring efficient resource management. Coordinate with authorities (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Civil Defence, Trakhees) to ensure all permits and inspections are completed. Maintain quality control procedures and check materials and work for compliance with standards. Assist with quantity take-offs and site measurements for billing and procurement purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the UAE Knowledge of Dubai construction regulations and standards. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
