We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all engineering and construction activities are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strong background in civil engineering, project management, and technical writing, along with proficiency in various engineering software tools.
Duties
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop project schedules and timelines.
Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation for drafting and design tasks.
Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
Prepare construction estimates and manage budgets effectively.
Implement GIS tools like ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis related to projects.
Engage in technical writing to produce clear documentation for project plans, reports, and proposals.
Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Utilize HEC and SWMM for hydraulic modeling related to water treatment and wastewater treatment projects.
Apply knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles in site assessments.
Coordinate with various teams including mechanical engineering, land surveying, and construction management to ensure project success.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in engineering software including Bluebeam, Mathcad, Revit, CAD applications, and Project Management tools.
Strong understanding of construction processes, inspection methods, and system design principles.
Familiarity with project scheduling techniques and construction estimating practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve complex engineering problems.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Experience in pipeline projects or hydraulics is a plus.
