A Site Engineer in a fire fighting company is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, installation, and maintenance of fire protection systems at various construction or industrial sites. They ensure that these systems comply with local regulations and safety standards, coordinate with various stakeholders, and manage site activities to ensure efficient and safe operation. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Design: Developing fire protection system designs, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems, often in collaboration with architects and designers. Site Supervision: Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and function as designed. Compliance and Safety: Ensuring all work complies with relevant fire codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NFPA, local codes).
