Job Description

1. JOB SUMMARY

The Site Engineer is responsible for daily site management, technical problem-solving, and collaboration with project teams to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of work.

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved shop drawings and schedules. Assist in reviewing and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs. Coordinate with subcontractors, labor teams, and suppliers to maintain workflow efficiency and quality work, whilst providing a daily report. Interpret drawings, plans, and technical documentation for the workforce. Monitor material usage, report discrepancies, and assist in procurement coordination. Identify on-site issues and propose technical solutions to avoid project delays. Attend toolbox talk with foremen for new activities. Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure work meets project standards. Identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks in daily operations. Prepare weekly look ahead schedule Prepare daily progress reports. Maintain proper documentation, including daily site reports, progress updates, and issue logs. Implement corrective actions for safety and quality discrepancies as per company standards. Ensure adherence to Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

3. QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering. 3+ years of experience in site engineering within the construction industry in the UAE. Knowledge of UAE construction codes, ADM regulations, and safety procedures. Experience in handling subcontractors and site teams. Preferred experience in AutoCAD.

4. SKILLS & ABILITIES

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to site challenges.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
