The Electrical Site Engineer is responsible for managing and overseeing electrical work on construction sites, including installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems such as power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and low current systems. The role ensures compliance with design, safety, quality, and timeline requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise installation of electrical systems including conduits, wiring, panels, lighting, and power systems.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, plans, and specifications.
Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, civil, etc.) to ensure seamless integration.
Monitor site work to ensure adherence to safety regulations and electrical codes.
Inspect materials and workmanship for quality assurance.
Resolve on-site technical issues and provide practical solutions.
Participate in testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
Maintain accurate project documentation and prepare daily/weekly progress reports.
Ensure availability of required materials and resources at the site.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
