Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Site Electrical Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Job Summary:

The Site Electrical Engineer will oversee daily electrical installation activities, ensure quality and safety compliance, and coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines to achieve project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor on-site electrical works and installations.

Ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Monitor work progress and report to the Project/Construction Manager.

Ensure compliance with project quality standards and HSE requirements.

Assist with inspections and testing in coordination with consultants and authorities.

Identify technical issues and propose corrective actions.

Ensure proper documentation of site activities and material usage.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of total site experience.

At least 1 year of experience in the UAE working as a Site Electrical Engineer.

Good knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and site supervision.

Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

Having previous experience working in Abu Dhabi especially for governmental projects.

Valid UAE driving license is required.
