Oversee day-to-day on-site activities, ensuring compliance with construction plans, blueprints, and safety regulations.
Technical Support:
Provide technical advice, set out site layouts, and check that structural elements are positioned accurately.
Quality Control & Inspections:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure materials, equipment, and work quality meet industry standards and project specifications.
Progress Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare daily reports, maintain records, and update project managers on progress, delays, and budget implications.
Coordination & Communication:
Liaise with architects, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve issues and ensure efficient workflows.
Resource Management:
Manage materials and coordinate subcontractors to avoid delays and control costs.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience as a site engineer or similar role in the construction industry.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software, surveying instruments, and structural design interpretation.
Key Skills:
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, communication, and project management abilities.
Certifications:
Professional Engineering (PE) license may be required depending on the scope of responsibility.
Working Conditions
