We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer. A Project Engineer is a professional who is responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of their assigned projects. They plan, schedule, predict, and manage all the technical tasks of their assigned project to assure accuracy, proper resources, and quality from start to finish.

We are looking for an accountable Project Engineer to be responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve. You will schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at ensuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications Overall project management of Dubai branch communicating with different departments to develop a complete realistic plan for e.g. construction, accounting, marketing, front desk, legal. Laying the foundation of hiring people to get them on track. Develop a Milestone schedule and three-week look-ahead Managing the development of the BOQs. Develop a detailed conception of the project execution stages. Approval of all Civil work. Manage Issues and Risks Inspection/supervision of engineers, subcontractors to achieve the targets and meet deadlines. Controlling the project cost to ensure the execution does not exceed the budget. Eliminate the unwanted cost by value engineering the equipment and material. Regular communication with other offices team to be aligned on strategy and implementation. Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status Assign responsibilities and mentor project team Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
Requirements and skills

5 years prior working experience as a Project Engineer in Dubai UAE Excellent knowledge of design and visualizations software such as AutoCAD Advanced MS Office skills Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards Ability to work with multiple discipline projects Project management and supervision skills Decision making ability and leadership skills Current engineer license (Municipality Card and Society of Engineers Card) Time management and organization skills BS degree in Engineering or relevant field
