Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive

Site Civil Engineer

to oversee and execute interior fit-out works on-site. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing site operations, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring high-quality execution of all civil works for retail, commercial, and hospitality interiors.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily site activities to ensure timely completion of fit-out works Coordinate with the project manager, design team, subcontractors, and suppliers Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications Ensure all civil-related works (partitions, floor finishes, ceilings, MEP openings, etc.) are executed per approved drawings and quality standards Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports Ensure compliance with safety regulations and site protocols Attend site meetings and provide technical support during execution Assist in material take-offs and site measurements for billing purposes Conduct site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with design specifications and standards Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and client representatives to resolve on-site technical issues Prepare method statements, site checklists, and inspection request submissions Track and verify work done for interim payment applications and client billing Coordinate civil works with MEP teams to avoid conflicts during installation Supervise subcontractors to ensure proper sequencing of works and adherence to schedule Provide input on construction feasibility, value engineering, and buildability during execution Assist in procurement planning for site materials in coordination with the procurement team Maintain site documentation, including RFI logs, material approvals, inspection records, and daily reports Ensure timely closure of snag lists and project handover with proper documentation Monitor resource allocation (labor, equipment, materials) to optimize efficiency and cost Support in preparing project schedules and updating progress in collaboration with the planning team Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards at all stages

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering 2-5 years of UAE experience in interior fit-out projects Strong understanding of interior finishing materials, detailing, and construction methods Knowledge of local regulations, DM/DCD/DEWA approvals is an advantage Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project tracking software Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
