The Site Civil Engineer is responsible for managing, overseeing, and executing construction activities on-site to ensure they are completed in accordance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise daily site activities and ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors, supervisors, and laborers for smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports for management.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations on site.
Review structural and architectural drawings and resolve any discrepancies.
Assist in material estimation, requisition, and quality control.
Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, and other stakeholders.
Provide technical advice and support to site teams.
Inspect and verify work before and after execution to ensure quality and accuracy.
Handle site-related documentation, including work permits, inspection requests, and daily logs.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in site supervision and project execution.
Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering software.
Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and site practices (preferred).
Working Conditions:
Full-time, site-based role.
Willingness to work extra hours and weekends if required by project timelines.
