We are seeking a qualified and experienced Civil Engineer to oversee and manage on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are executed in compliance with all design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage daily construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.
Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and verify adherence to engineering and design standards.
Collaborate with project managers, architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination and timely project delivery.
Analyze and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, topographical data, and technical documentation to plan and execute construction operations.
Coordinate procurement, delivery, and inspection of construction materials, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delays, cost overruns, and safety incidents.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily site reports, progress updates, change orders, and quality assurance records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
3-5 years of relevant construction experience in the UAE.
Strong understanding of UAE construction codes, regulations, and best practices.
Proven experience in residential, commercial, or real estate development projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools such as Primavera or MS Project.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) are preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the UAE Building Code and local safety standards.
Familiarity with sustainable construction practices.
Strong understanding of budgeting, cost estimation, and cost control principles.
