We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Civil Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising civil works on-site and ensuring that construction activities are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Job Summary:
The Site Civil Engineer will manage daily site activities, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure quality, safety, and progress requirements are met in compliance with UAE standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor daily civil construction activities on-site.
Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
Coordinate with subcontractors, site supervisors, and suppliers.
Monitor work progress and report site activities to the Project/Construction Manager.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and HSE requirements.
Assist in inspections with consultants and authorities.
Identify and report construction issues and propose corrective actions.
Ensure proper material usage and site documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of total site experience.
At least 1 year of experience in the UAE working as a Site Civil Engineer.
Good knowledge of civil construction works and site supervision.
Familiarity with UAE construction standards and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Having previous experience working in Abu Dhabi especially for governmental projects.
Valid UAE driving license is required.
