A diversified group of companies headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of tobacco, nicotine-containing products, and beverages (including energy and carbonated soft drinks), is developing a new state-of-the-art tobacco manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, and control all civil and structural construction activities under the General Contractor's scope.
Ensure site operations comply with approved designs, specifications, project schedules, and UAE authority requirements.
Monitor and report on civil/structural works progress, quality, and compliance with project standards.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities (ADM, Civil Defense, KEZAD, etc.) to secure approvals and resolve site issues.
Support implementation of HSE and quality standards across all civil and structural activities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Degree Equivalency Certificate from the UAE Ministry of Education (for degrees obtained outside the UAE).
Valid registration with the UAE Society of Engineers - mandatory.
Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil and structural site supervision on industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
At least 5 years of UAE experience with proven authority coordination and construction supervision.
At least 3 years of experience within a General Contracting company aligned with licensed GC activities.
Strong knowledge of UAE Building Codes, ADM, Civil Defense, KEZAD, and Estidama regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Project; knowledge of Revit or BIM systems is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
