About the Role

We are seeking a Civil Engineer with strong contractor-side experience in construction, particularly in renovation and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of proven experience in Abu Dhabi or the wider UAE market and must be familiar with local standards, codes, and regulations.

Our main client for this role is Provis, with projects focused on work orders, schools, and full renovation and maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and supervise renovation and maintenance works across residential and commercial projects. Review, interpret, and implement project drawings, specifications, and contracts. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Municipality standards, safety regulations, and quality control requirements. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of works. Prepare progress reports, project schedules, and cost estimates. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues on-site efficiently. Manage permits, approvals, and documentation as required by local authorities. Ensure proper resource allocation, including labor, equipment, and materials.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (accredited university). Minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on

renovation and maintenance

from the contractor's side. Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi building codes, standards, and authority approval processes. Excellent project management, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools. Valid UAE driving license. Strong communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
