Site -Assistant Resident Engineer - Civil - (111.1)

Location Category Job Type: Full-time Working Days The Assistant Resident Engineer supports the on-site construction management team in coordinating and overseeing construction projects. They collaborate with engineers, designers, and contractors to ensure projects are executed according to specifications, budget, and timeline. The Assistant Resident Engineer assists in monitoring construction progress, conducting inspections, and resolving technical issues that may arise. They must have a solid understanding of construction practices, project management, and strong communication skills. ARE is fully responsible and has full delegated authority to act directly on behalf of the RE/PM with the Contractor and the Client regarding construction activities. ARE is assisted in their duties by a staff of relevant Engineers/Inspectors (Civil, MEP etc.), HSEW, Landscape Architect, Quantity Surveyor, and a document controller (based on the approved organization chart by the Client). Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Collaborate with the resident engineer to plan and manage construction activities. Assist in overseeing contractors' work to ensure compliance with project specifications. Conduct regular inspections to monitor construction progress and quality of work. Manage documentation, including project reports, specifications, and change orders. Identify and resolve technical issues and design conflicts that may arise during construction. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to address project requirements. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with the construction team to provide clear instructions and updates. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field with a minimum experience of 15 years. Previous experience in construction management or a similar role is preferred. Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, and regulations. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
