XYZ Designers is a leading multidisciplinary consultancy delivering innovative design and supervision services across the UAE. We are seeking a qualified Site Architect to join our supervision team.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Review and comment on architectural shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and method statements. Monitor finishes, joinery, facade, and interior works for quality and compliance. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve site issues. Ensure compliance with authority requirements and project specifications. Prepare inspection reports, snag lists, and maintain accurate site records. Support the project team in ensuring timely delivery of works to required standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture. 5-8 years of site supervision experience as an architect with consultancy firms. Successfully completed at least two full construction projects. Strong knowledge of local authority regulations in Dubai & RAK. Strong technical review skills (shop drawings, materials, finishes). Good communication and report-writing skills. UAE-based; immediate/short notice joining preferred.
