Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Monitor architectural works to ensure conformance with contract documents and the procedures manual.

Review and process all architectural technical submittals.

Coordinate processes with other disciplines and liaise with equipment suppliers.

Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to architecture.

Coordinate and supervise all architectural activities and operations.

Review contractor's architectural change order proposals and prepare recommendations for the Project Manager (PM).

Lead the coordination process with other disciplines.

?Liaise and coordinate with necessary sub-consultants.

Review contractors' claims related to architectural works and prepare recommendations for the Project Manager (PM).

Review the contractor's project record documents relevant to the architectural discipline.

Manage architectural inspectors and Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).

Analyze laboratory and testing reports.

Assist with the inspection of completed works and monitor the start-up, testing, commissioning, and handover of the architectural works.

Sign off on completed architectural works with complete documentation.

Prepare weekly plans and weekly reports.

Perform all other duties assigned by the Resident Engineer (RE) or Project Manager (PM).

Qualifications and Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

6-8 years of experience in the UAE working within an international consultant environment.

Strong technical knowledge of exterior envelope details and material interface.

Good knowledge of the UAE building codes.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Ability to review and comment effectively on necessary documentation.

Proficiency in AutoCAD.

Excellent understanding of specifications and Authority requirements.

Complete project understanding in the given discipline, from start to hand-over.
