Key Account Manager - Protective Coatings - UAE




We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager with a strong engineering background to join our team in UAE. The ideal candidate will have at least 5/7 years of experience in the sale of protective coatings. This role requires a dynamic individual who can manage key accounts, achieve sales targets, and develop strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:



Sales and Business Development:

+ Achieve and exceed sales budgets and margin targets.
+ Identify and develop new business opportunities within the protective coatings market.
+ Maintain and grow relationships with existing key accounts.

Customer Relationship Management:

+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
+ Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Technical Expertise:

+ Understand and interpret technical specifications related to protective coatings.
+ Provide technical support and advice to customers, ensuring they select the appropriate products for their needs.
+ Prepare and present quotations based on customer requirements and technical specifications.

Market Analysis:

+ Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
+ Provide feedback to the management team on market conditions and customer needs.

Reporting and Documentation:

+ Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.
+ Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Achievement of sales budget and margin targets. Timely collection of payments. Customer acquisition and retention rates. Accuracy and timeliness of quotations and technical support.

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the sale of protective coatings in ME Strong understanding of technical specifications and the ability to provide accurate quotations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing customer relationships.

Skills:



Strong negotiation and sales skills. Ability to understand and interpret technical specifications. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
