- Shuttering Carpenter

Location: Dubai, UAE

Reports To: Site Supervisor

Role Overview:

We are hiring Shuttering Carpenters to construct, install, and dismantle formwork and shuttering for concrete

structures. The role includes building molds for slabs, columns, beams, walls, and foundations according to

drawings and specifications. This position is ideal for skilled individuals with strong experience in formwork and

structural carpentry within construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Construct and install shuttering/formwork for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls,
and foundations.

Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber, plywood, and formwork materials. Interpret and follow construction drawings, sketches, and specifications accurately. Install supports, bracing, and scaffolding required for formwork stability. Check formwork alignment, dimensions, and levels before concrete pouring. Assist in dismantling and removing formwork safely after concrete curing. Use carpentry tools and equipment safely and efficiently. Ensure high-quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other team members for smooth workflow.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of experience in the UAE as a Shuttering Carpenter or in a similar formwork
role (mandatory).

Strong knowledge of formwork systems, carpentry tools, materials, and safety practices. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and take accurate measurements. Physically fit and capable of working at heights, lifting materials, and performing manual tasks. Good teamwork, communication, and reliability. Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precise work.
