Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
Measure, cut, and assemble shuttering (formwork) for concrete pours.
Build formwork for columns, beams, walls, slabs, and foundations.
Install supports, bracing, and scaffolding as required.
Ensure formwork is secure, aligned, and meets safety standards.
Strip formwork after concrete sets without damaging the structure.
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
Adhere to safety protocols and worksite regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
3-5 years of proven experience as a shuttering/formwork carpenter.
Strong knowledge of concrete formwork techniques and tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
No disqualifying criminal history.
