Measure, cut, assemble, and fit formwork for concrete structures such as columns, beams, slabs, walls, and foundations.
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
Build and dismantle shuttering/formwork according to project requirements.
Ensure accuracy and proper alignment of formwork before concrete pouring.
Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely.
Maintain quality standards and follow safety protocols at all times.
Repair, clean, and reuse shuttering materials.
Collaborate with site engineers, supervisors, and other workers to ensure timely completion.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a shuttering/formwork carpenter.
Knowledge of different shuttering systems (timber, plywood, steel, aluminum).
Ability to read construction drawings and technical instructions.
Physical fitness and ability to work in challenging site conditions.
Basic knowledge of safety procedures and use of PPE.
