with proven expertise in formwork and structural carpentry, especially in UAE construction projects. The candidate should be skilled in reading structural drawings and setting up formwork for concrete casting with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret formwork drawings and specifications
Construct, install, and dismantle shuttering (formwork) for beams, columns, slabs, walls, and foundations
Measure, cut, and assemble plywood, timber, and steel formwork accurately
Ensure proper alignment, level, and support of shuttering before pouring concrete
Apply release agents and prepare surfaces for concrete work
Strip shuttering safely without damaging the concrete
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
Work closely with steel fixers and site engineers to coordinate tasks
Follow site safety rules and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Requirements:
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant experience as a shuttering carpenter, preferably in the UAE
Strong knowledge of formwork systems
Ability to read structural and formwork drawings
Physical strength and stamina to work under tough site conditions
Familiarity with standard safety procedures and construction site protocols
Preferred:
Experience in high-rise, villa, or infrastructure projects in the UAE
