We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shovel Operator to join our construction team in Umm Al Quwain. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating shovels and other heavy equipment, with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency. You will be working on various projects, including warehouses, factories, and labor accommodations, contributing to the successful completion of our construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate shovels and related equipment to excavate, move, and load materials.
Perform pre-operational checks and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
Follow project plans and instructions from site supervisors to meet project requirements.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Assist with site preparation, grading, and other tasks as needed.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Shovel Operator or similar role in the construction industry.
Valid UAE driving license with heavy equipment certification preferred.
Strong understanding of safety standards and procedures.
Ability to read and interpret project plans and layouts.
Physically fit and able to work in varying weather conditions.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
