Al Rabat Piling and Foundation Contracting Company is currently seeking an experienced

Shoring/Piling Engineer

to join our team. The ideal candidate must have

at least 3 years of proven experience in the UAE

in the field of foundation works, shoring systems, and piling operations.

Key Responsibilities

Planned and supervised execution of shoring and piling works as per project specifications and timelines. Conducted geotechnical analysis and load calculations for various soil conditions and foundation types. Designed temporary and permanent shoring systems such as soldier piles, secant piles, sheet piles, and anchors. Prepared detailed method statements, risk assessments, and HSE documentation for piling operations. Coordinated with consultants, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and approvals. Supervised daily site activities, ensuring quality control and compliance with technical standards. Monitored and managed piling equipment, including rotary rigs, CFA rigs, and hydraulic hammers. Oversaw material procurement and ensured correct usage of steel reinforcement, concrete, and anchoring systems. Maintained thorough documentation including daily progress reports, pile logs, and test results. Ensured compliance with UAE local authority regulations such as Dubai Municipality, DDA, and Trakhees. Conducted or coordinated pile integrity tests (PIT), static and dynamic load tests, and borehole logging. Collaborated with design teams to optimize foundation solutions and reduce project costs. Enforced health and safety standards on-site, including conducting toolbox talks and safety audits. Assisted in preparing BOQs, project budgets, and cost control strategies. Resolved technical issues on-site with minimal delay and disruption to ongoing operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum

3 years of UAE experience

in piling and shoring projects. Strong knowledge of ground engineering and soil mechanics. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, STAAD, Plaxis, or similar. Excellent communication and project management skills.
