Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Shoring Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in shoring, piling, and foundation design, with a valid design approval certificate from Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, or Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop temporary and permanent shoring systems, including soldier piles, sheet piling, secant piles, and diaphragm walls.

- Prepare structural calculations, design reports, and construction drawings for shoring and foundation works.

- Ensure all designs comply with local regulations and international standards.

- Coordinate with geotechnical, structural, and site teams to ensure effective execution of designs.

- Review and approve design submissions from subcontractors or external consultants, when applicable.

- Conduct structural analysis using relevant design software (e.g., Plaxis, SAFE, STAAD, Prokon, etc.).

- Prepare and submit documentation for municipality approvals and liaise with authorities to ensure timely permit acquisition.

- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with design specifications. Evaluate and propose cost-effective design alternatives to improve efficiency and safety.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Master's is a plus).

- Valid Shoring, Piling, and Foundation Design Certificate from Dubai.

- Municipality, Abu Dhabi Municipality, or Ras Al Khaimah Municipality.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in shoring and foundation design.

- Strong knowledge of local codes, design practices, and municipality procedures.

- Proficient in structural design software and drafting tools.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
