We are seeking a skilled

Architect

with a strong background in

preparing and developing shop drawings

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced in translating design concepts into precise, construction-ready documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and develop architectural

shop drawings

based on design intent, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate with design consultants, engineers, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance Review IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings and convert them into detailed shop drawings Identify and resolve any discrepancies or clashes in coordination with other disciplines (MEP, structural, etc.) Ensure all drawings comply with

local authorities' regulations

, codes, and standards Update drawings based on site conditions, client comments, or design revisions Collaborate closely with project managers, site engineers, and drafting team to meet deadlines

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field Minimum

3-5 years

of experience in shop drawing preparation, preferably in the UAE Proficient in

AutoCAD

,

Revit

(an advantage), and other relevant design software Familiarity with

Dubai Municipality

standards and approval processes is an advantage Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and materials Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings Good communication and coordination skills
