Manage International Shipping Operations: Oversee and coordinate the transportation of goods internationally, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining compliance with regulations. Customs Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with customs regulations and requirements of destination countries. Manage documentation, including customs clearance, import/export paperwork, and certificates of origin. Freight Forwarding: Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, and shipping lines to arrange the transportation of goods by air, sea, or land. Negotiate rates and contracts to optimize shipping costs. Supply Chain Optimization: Develop strategies to streamline the international supply chain, minimize transit times, and reduce transportation costs. Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in international shipping operations, such as customs delays, port congestion, or geopolitical issues. Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of operations. Customer Service: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders regarding international shipping matters. Provide timely updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns. Compliance and Regulations: Stay informed about changes in international trade regulations, tariffs, and sanctions. Ensure compliance with trade laws and regulations, including export controls and trade embargoes. Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of shipping activities, including invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping schedules. Ensure documentation is organized and easily accessible for auditing purposes. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related field. Proven experience in international shipping and forwarding operations. In-depth knowledge of global logistics, customs regulations, INCO terms, and international trade practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively manage complex logistics challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external partners. Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as ERP systems, freight management software. Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g., Certified International Shipping and Forwarding Professional) is a plus. Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
