Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Shift Supervisor to be based in the Operations Team. In this role, the successful candidate will supervise the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help manage shift performance of your team in order to drive operational standardization and delivery of key objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Enforce health, safety, and compliance standards, including Behavioral Based Safety (BBS) program and incident reporting. Ensure team roles and responsibilities are clearly defined, equipped, and executed per OMS First Choice (OMSFC) standards. Develop, review, and validate Time & Data Management (TDM) plans for self and team to ensure accurate tracking and accountability. Lead daily shift planning, resource allocation, and equipment readiness to meet operational requirements. Track and review KPIs (productivity, quality, claims, attendance, overtime, turnover) and Standard Productivity Rates (SPR), addressing deviations with first-level management. Review, approve, and update SOPs, Work Instructions, and SPRs in support of Continuous Improvement initiatives. Support team capability development through training, coaching, and Excellence School programs, including monitoring trainer span of control. Conduct shift handovers, pre-shift briefings, and performance reviews to ensure smooth communication of priorities and results. Collaborate with first-level management on operational performance, deviations, and improvement opportunities. Participate in critical analysis meetings with management, escalating issues, reporting risks, informing your manager of resource or investment needs to remove productivity barriers, and aligning on action plans.

Intermediate education level. Various MHE licenses, is an advantage. * All Licenses and trainings operating on that site or area (i.e. LSHC requirements, sector or dangerous goods, etc.)
