Our client, a dynamic and desirable government entity in Abu Dhabi, is currently looking for a Services and Employees Relation Section Head to join their team. The Head will be responsible for leading and guiding department staff in all personnel relationship work, ensure that administrative procedures are carried out to address all personnel matters accurately and on time, and manage the implementation of human resources strategies, policies and procedures.
Please note that this is an Emiratisation role, and only UAE Nationals with a Family Book will be considered.
The role:
Contribute to the preparation of the operational plan and the estimated budget of the activities and ensure that they are in keeping with the department's plan
Supervise the implementation of the management's operational plan, monitoring the disbursement of expenditures, periodic follow-up of performance indicators and review of completion rates
Engage with the Human Resources Department in selecting and recruiting office staff and directing new staff enrolled in the department
Assess the annual performance of employees and motivating them, seeing their needs and developing the performance of the department
- Participation in the preparation of the budget with the annual plans of the Department in accordance with the strategy of managing human materials (promotions - motivation and rewards)
Contribute to building the institutional culture of the staff to enhance the image and status of the Department by preparing special initiatives in cooperation with the Office of Institutional Liaison
Work to manage and develop a comprehensive strategy for rewards, honors and motivation in accordance with best practices
Work to manage employee relationships and provide all services in accordance with the standards of quality, efficiency and transparency
Create a major database especially for all employees.
Ensure that all employee services are implemented distinctively within the framework of the regulations and policies
Assist the Human Resources Manager in analysing feedback received from staff satisfaction questionnaires and proposing appropriate procedural steps
Advising and recommendations on motivating and promoting staff and submitting proposals to department officials
Requirements:
UAE National with a Family Book
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent, CIPD or equivalent will be preferred
7-10 years of experience in HR, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position
Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic
Must have knowledge in: Performance management; Employee relationships; Information Management Systems; Learning and development; Workforce planning and employment; Reward management; Talent Management; Strategic planning and Change Management
