Job Description

Service Resilience and Continuity Engineer is responsible for development and maintenance of the Group IT wide service continuity program, maintain dashboard of services with the status of continuity readiness, planning, preparation and testing to ensure that the bank can continue to operate in case of serious incidents or disasters and is able to recover to an operational state with no or minimal business interruption.

The Service Resilience and Continuity team acts as a guardian of availability ensuring that performance, capacity, resilience and operational requirements are met by the delivery teams. The team also maintains and applies a service criticality tiering framework across Group IT services including international entities enabling a pragmatic investment in service resilience and risk remediation.

This role is critical in driving service resilience and recoverability across IT Operations including International entities and ensuring we become a trusted partner of the business.

Experiences

Experience within complex environments defined by high availability, high transaction rate and geographical complexity Experience in working with high performing cross functional teams within complex technology environments 3+ years in IT Operations within an organization of more than 4000 users with at least 4 years of experience in banking 2+ years experience in IT service performance engineering or design capability, Service Delivery and Transition

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in IT Service Management, with a core operations competency Functional and technical understanding of critical application systems and infrastructure services. * Strong understanding to the technical application / infrastructure risks, security, compliance and audit requirements.
