Job Purpose

This role is responsible for leading the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of the DevSecOps practices, monitoring, service management, and automated testing within CCIB. This role oversees the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of secure and efficient software delivery pipelines, ensuring that software is developed and delivered with security best practices embedded throughout the development process. The Service Owner, DevSecOps collaborates with cross-functional teams, including Development, Operations, Security, and Quality Assurance, to align DevSecOps strategies with business goals and drive the adoption of DevSecOps culture across the organization. Additionally, this role is responsible for implementing and managing monitoring solutions, including synthetic monitoring, to ensure the performance, availability, and security of software applications, as well as automated testing tools for efficient and effective quality assurance

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the implementation and operation of DevSecOps practices, monitoring, service management, and automated testing, ensuring that software delivery pipelines are secure, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, Security, and Quality Assurance teams to establish and enforce best practices for secure code development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and service management.
• Implement and maintain automated security testing tools, vulnerability scanning, and code analysis tools to identify and mitigate security risks in software applications.
• Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and standards for DevSecOps processes, monitoring, service management, and automated testing.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions, including synthetic monitoring, to ensure the performance, availability, and security of software applications.
• Implement and maintain automated testing tools for efficient and effective quality assurance, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Monitor and analyze system performance, security metrics, and compliance requirements to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service transition and operation, including incident and problem management, change management, and release management.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to DevSecOps, monitoring, service management, and automated testing, and provide recommendations for adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in DevSecOps, monitoring, service management, and automated testing.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD toolchain, specifically GitLab and Jenkins.
• Experience with monitoring tools, including synthetic monitoring, for performance, availability, and security monitoring.
• Experience with automated testing tools for quality assurance, including functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Knowledge of service management practices, including incident management, problem management, change management, and release management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional team work.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, or CISSP are a plus.
• Functional and technical understanding of critical systems and banking services.
• Experience integrating toolchains into the CI/CD server using webhooks/APIs.
• Strong hands-on experience in creating/maintaining containers using Docker.
• Familiarity with Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding and practical knowledge of software testing and quality assurance, including manual and automation testing
