Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Service Mechanic

to join our maintenance team, specializing in the repair and servicing of

diesel and electric forklifts, stackers, hand pallet trucks, and reach trucks

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring optimal performance of material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults in diesel and electric forklifts, stackers, hand pallets, and reach trucks Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all types of material handling equipment Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Replace or repair defective components including brakes, tires, batteries, and motors Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with UAE regulations Maintain accurate service records and job logs Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide on-site support when required Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to minimize downtime
Requirements

Proven experience as a forklift or industrial equipment mechanic (minimum 2-3 years preferred) Strong knowledge of diesel engines, electric motors, hydraulics, and control systems Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Familiarity with brands such as Toyota, Hyster, Crown, Jungheinrich, or similar Valid UAE driving license (preferred) Technical diploma or certification in mechanical/electrical engineering or automotive technology Good communication skills and ability to work independently
Preferred Skills

Experience with battery-operated and hybrid forklifts Knowledge of safety protocols and UAE labor standards Ability to manage service schedules and prioritize tasks effectively
