Job Description

:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy construction equipment such as concrete pumps, excavators, truck mixers, and lifting machinery. Supervise and execute customer service jobs--both in the workshop and field--ensuring timely delivery and quality workmanship. Manage warranty claims by coordinating with OEM principals and submitting all documentation online/offline as per dealer protocols. Monitor and control workshop operations including job allocation, technician productivity, and work schedule planning. Lead the field service team and deploy service engineers to attend breakdowns or preventive service calls. Provide technical assistance to technicians and ensure accurate diagnosis and resolution of faults. Ensure effective communication with principals and OEMs regarding warranty issues, service campaigns, and technical updates. Advise the parts team on workshop stock requirements and forecast parts demand for assigned products. Prepare accurate estimates for repair work including labor, parts, and turnaround time. Promote after-sales offerings including Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), Genuine Spare Parts, and Extended Services. Maintain compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and ISO/Quality Management Systems. Document all service jobs accurately and ensure proper reporting of field service activities. Identify new service opportunities and support the business by nurturing customer relationships.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Automobile Engineering or equivalent.

3-5 years of hands-on service experience with an authorized dealership or distributor of heavy equipment.

Strong understanding of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems used in construction machinery. Familiarity with OEM diagnostic tools and technical documentation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with customers and principals effectively. Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
