We are seeking a skilled Service Engineer to provide dedicated on-site technical support for printing infrastructure and Managed Print Services (MPS). The role is responsible for first-level and basic second-level support, preventive maintenance, incident resolution, and coordination with centralized service teams to ensure optimal device performance, SLA compliance, and customer satisfaction.
Provide on-site first-level and basic second-level support for printers and MPS environments
Maintain, troubleshooting, and repair printers and related hardware
Perform preventive maintenance and routine health checks on printing devices
Monitor device performance, consumables, and service alerts to ensure uninterrupted operations
Act as the primary on-site technical point of contact for MPS-related issues
Escalate complex incidents to senior engineers or vendors and coordinate timely resolution
Maintain accurate service documentation, incident logs, and asset records
Support continuous service improvement initiatives and follow standard service procedures
Qualifications
Diploma in IT, Electronics, or a related field
Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
Additional Information
3-5 years of experience in printer maintenance, technical support, or service engineering
Experience supporting Managed Print Services (MPS) in a customer-dedicated or on-site role
Skills & Abilities:
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good understanding of printing systems and MPS environments
Basic knowledge of IT hardware, networks, and system troubleshooting
Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
Strong documentation and reporting skills
