The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in the automotive field (heavy trucks and cars), with the ability to explain complex technical details in simple terms to customers. This role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and a customer-first attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome customers and direct them to the appropriate technician.
Consult with technicians to identify required repairs and suggest cost-effective alternatives when possible.
Answer customer inquiries regarding service outcomes and coordinate with technicians as needed.
Inform customers about potential cost savings, warranty coverage, and protection options.
Assist customers in making informed decisions about repairs or replacements.
Manage the service center's scheduling, workflow, and daily operations.
Update customers on service progress and notify them when their vehicle is ready for collection.
Qualifications & Skills
Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive role.
Strong technical knowledge in automotive maintenance and repair (heavy trucks and cars).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical issues in clear, simple language.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Professional, polite, and attentive listener.
