Job Description

Key Responsibilities

? Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across development, staging, and production environments.

? Write and maintain Bash scripts to automate server management, deployments, monitoring, and backups.

? Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.

? Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.

? Ensure server security through patch management, firewall configuration, and log monitoring.

? Perform regular system backups, restores, and disaster recovery planning.

? Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to support deployments and CI/CD pipelines.

? Document processes, procedures, and scripts for internal use.

Required Skills & Qualifications

? 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Server Administrator or Systems Engineer.

? Strong expertise in Linux/Unix administration.

? Proficiency in Bash scripting for automation and server management.

? Solid knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers).

? Experience with system monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).

? Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).

? Strong understanding of backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes.

? Knowledge of Git / version control and collaborative workflows.

? Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Good to Have (Preferred)

? Experience with blockchain nodes / validator setup and maintenance.

? Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure, or DigitalOcean).

? Exposure to automation/configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

? Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages.

? Prior experience in a startup or high-growth technology environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
