Senior Wet Utility Engineer
Job Description
Led planning, design, and delivery of water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and fire water systems for municipal and land development projects valued up to $150M
Prepared and reviewed utility plans, profiles, specifications, and engineer's cost estimates in compliance with local and state standards
Performed hydraulic modeling and capacity analysis for water distribution and stormwater systems to support system sizing and permitting
Coordinated wet utility design with roadway, grading, structural, and dry utility disciplines to resolve conflicts and improve constructability
Managed utility agency coordination, permitting, and approval processes with city, county, and utility providers
Provided technical oversight, QA/QC, and mentorship to junior engineers and designers
Supported construction through RFI responses, submittal reviews, field observations, and issue resolution
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Experience in wet utility design (water, sewer, storm drainage)
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or similar design software
Strong understanding of utility hydraulics and infrastructure systems
Ability to read and interpret utility records and construction plans
