About the Role

El Patio Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled Senior Wet Utilities Draftsman to prepare and develop detailed drawings for potable water, irrigation, sewerage, stormwater, and associated utility networks. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent knowledge of UAE authority standards, and experience supporting wet utilities design teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed drawings for wet utilities networks, including:

Potable water

Irrigation

Foul sewer

Stormwater drainage

Infrastructure utility corridors

Develop plans, profiles, sections, chamber details, and connection points based on engineer inputs.

Coordinate with civil, landscape, and MEP teams to ensure full integration of utilities design.

Prepare base maps, utility relocation drawings, and tie-in/out connection layouts.

Ensure all drawings comply with ADM/DMT, ADQCC, ADDC/TAQA, ITC, and other relevant authority requirements.

Update drawings based on engineer comments, authority reviews, and site conditions.

Organize drawings and maintain drafting standards, layers, and CAD file structures.

Assist in the preparation of tender and IFC utility drawing packages.

Requirements

Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or equivalent.

6-10 years of experience in wet utilities drafting, preferably in the UAE.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is an advantage.

Strong understanding of wet utilities design principles (flow directions, slopes, manhole spacing, invert levels, chamber types, etc.).
