Job Summary
Enterprise Projects (EP) is a new and growing team within Arch's Strategy and Innovation group that drives the future state design of strategically important underwriting and claims initiatives in line with Arch's broader strategic imperatives. Our mission is to design modern user experiences to improve ease of doing business, productivity, and responsiveness to accelerate growth. To be successful, we need to help our underwriters and claim adjusters make better informed, faster decisions by designing experiences that incorporate innovative technologies, such as: AI-powered intelligent document processing, data enrichment via third-party sources, and analytics driven prioritization.
As a member of Arch's Enterprise Projects team, the Senior UX Product Designer will play a crucial role in supporting successful creation of Arch's most strategically important user experiences. Working under EP leadership, this role will be responsible for the interaction design and visual design of multiple products, both existing and new, in the Arch ecosystem.
ResponsibilitiesUser research, testing and iteration
Information architecture
Wireframing & prototyping design solutions to solve business problems
User flow creation
Expanding upon visual language and design system upkeep
Collaboration with stakeholders in various business units and with multiple development teams
Skills/Experience - RequiredDemonstrated competency in above responsibilities, with extensive expertise in at least one subject
Demonstrated experience shipping quality software across web and mobile
Can frame strong rationales for design decisions that persuade peers and executives
Desired Skill Sets:Preferred 5-10 years of relevant experience (research, design, etc.)
Prior experience in insurance or financial services industry
Previous experience designing for Unqork or similar 'low-code' front end
Candidates will be expected to present design portfolio

For individuals assigned or hired to work in the location(s) indicated below, the base salary range is provided. Range is as of the time of posting. Position is incentive eligible.
$140,000.00+ based upon experience and locationTotal individual compensation (base salary, short & long-term incentives) offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, qualifications, talent availability & specialization as well as business needs. The above pay range may be modified in the future.
