Description The design team at Jellyfish is a global team of multidisciplinary designers. We provide services spanning experience strategy, user research, information architecture, interaction design, interface design and design evaluation to an international client base. Our work spans channels, mediums and industries and is concerned with the full customer journey along with finding the optimal marriage of feasibility, viability and desirability when it comes to solving problems in that journey. As a UX designer, you\'ll be involved in the end-to-end design process: from research and analysis to execution and delivery and should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment in a multi-disciplinary team. The Role We understand that UX Designers are often \xe2\x80\x9cT-shaped\xe2\x80\x9d with their core skills spread along a spectrum. For this role, we are looking for a Senior UX designer whose leaning is towards interaction design, UI and usability. Although there is an expectation that you will have a general competence across all areas of UX design, including user research and information architecture. This opportunity is based in our Dubai office. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for a self-starter who is passionate about making the interfaces people use every day more useful, useable and desirable. Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team of data analysts, optimisation specialists and frontend engineers.
- Plan and estimate the right process to reach project goals and client objectives.
- Facilitate stakeholder and design team workshops.
- Conduct evaluative research activities such as heuristic analysis and competitive analysis.
- Synthesise research into actionable insights.
- Interrogating requirements and design briefs in order to develop appropriate design solutions, sketching and exploring alternatives rapidly.
- Model interactions using screen flows.
- Create annotated wireframes, high-fidelity, on-brand design mockups, UI components and prototypes to articulate design direction.
- Present concepts and explain design rationale to colleagues and clients.
- Mentor and coach more junior team members.

Required skills and knowledge
- Experience using Figma
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Clear UX design process and user-centred design ethos.
- Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar senior role.
- Good working knowledge of core interface and interaction design principles, including layout, colour theory, typography, grids, hierarchy, mobile-first, responsive, design patterns, platform conventions, accessibility standards and so on.
- Familiarity with designing to meet the needs and expectations of the UAE market, such as selecting appropriate imagery and iconography, designing for a right-to-left writing system and so on.
- Familiarity with unmoderated usability testing is desirable.
- Familiarity with eCommerce design conventions is desirable
- Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing is desirable.
- Familiarity with progressively optimising websites and apps is desirable.
- Familiarity with core web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS and so on) is desirable.
- Familiarity with analytics software (GA, Hotjar, Crazy Egg etc) is desirable.
